The different shades and shapes of color bring out the geometry of the sky rise. Building reflections can be an art form in and of themselves. (My first thoughts about purple have reference my favorite color during the 90's and a pop song- that I don't even like.) I really like your double cross and how simple it is. As a graphic designer I understand how challenging it can be to break down a design to it's most concise form. I hope you are very pleased with how wonderful your quilt turned out. It's wonderfully modern. I'm thinking that perhaps it is the nature of that color to be multi-modal, if such a concept exists, that is, both prominent and also invisible. <br />And so it is with your design, the two crosses, that can be a strong evocation of the ecclesiastical or more modern and areligious, depending on what it's by and the context (love that photo with the churches, your quilt and the stained glass). A very successful outing, Camilla! OPQuilthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08622702911207665333noreply@blogger.com
